#CannabisCon Brings to Edmonton Key Players to Inform on Cannabis Business Start-ups, Workplace Regulations, and How to Enter the Cannabis Sector

Edmonton, Alberta— #CannabisCon kicks off Friday, April 13that The Edmonton Shaw Conference Centre bringing timely, relevant, and up-to-date information from top industry executives and professionals to Edmontonians looking to enter the cannabis sector.

As many are looking to join Alberta’s cannabis boom — through varied means — up-to-date regulations and current legislation knowledge is crucial for planning as legalization dates approach. Our two-day conference has been designed to bring forth top industry professionals from not only the cannabis sector, but also Health Canada, AGLC, City of Edmonton, Alberta Chamber of Commerce, and the Canadian Cannabis Business Association, to carry out in-depth panel discussions with Q & A opportunities, to allow all scopes of conversation to take place.

A variety of seminars have been developed to address the needs of Canadians who are looking for information about entering the cannabis industry, whether as an employee, business owner, partner, investor, those looking for investors, and each and every ancillary position that come with each.

With a focus on B2B opportunities, #CannabisCon and featured Cannabis Canada Forums Business Opportunity Day will showcase seminars such as Cannabis in the Workplace, where Hugh McPhail QC; McLennan Ross, Jennifer Miller QC; Bennett Jones, and Dr. Jamie Cox; Chief Medical Officer; Sundial will come together to discuss adapting to the new world of cannabis in the workplace, labour and employment law, and occupational health and safety perspectives.

#CannabisCon is a two-day conference beginning Friday April 13 with our Cannabis Canada Business Opportunity Day which features The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce Licensed Producers President’s Luncheon.
